Internship Program Overview

Requirements:

• You must be enrolled in school and receive academic credit to be considered for an internship with Cumulus Broadcasting Melbourne.
• Interns must be at least 16 years old.
• All internships are maintained by the Promotions department, but may include activities within the Promotions, Programming, Production, Sales, or Executive departments.
• All internships are unpaid.
• The amount of time spent at the station will depend on the credit hours you are receiving, but there is a minimum of 9 hours a week that must be spent at the station during your internship.
• Cumulus Melbourne treats the Internship program as an interviewing process for new employees, but jobs are not guaranteed at the end of your internship.
• All interns must complete a grade-able project by the end of their term, this will complete your final evaluation. Projects are assigned during the orientation portion of your internship.
• Internship schedules are flexible. Most Internships are done within normal business hours, but there are weekend and night hours accessible for internships.
