Running Zone Foundation is hosting a “Runners for Boston” run on Monday, April 22nd at 6:30pm. Running stores across America will be hosting this simultaneous run to bring the community of runners together and show support for those affected in Boston on Monday, April 15th. 107.1 A1A will be joining Running Zone Foundation in support of the run.
On the run, participants can wear past or present Boston Marathon gear, or the iconic blue and yellow colors from the marathon.
Running Zone will not be taking donations but will have information on donation opportunities such as the following: Boston Mayor Menino and Massachusetts Governor Patrick have announced the formation of The One Fund Boston, the purpose of which is to raise money to help those families most affected by the tragic events.
