Drake made the release of Iceman a hometown moment, using Toronto as the center of a large-scale rollout tied to the new project. During the latest Iceman livestream, the CN Tower was lit in icy blue as footage connected to the release appeared on the landmark.
The rollout also included the surprise arrival of two additional projects, Habibti and Maid of Honour, turning the release into a broader music event for fans. Around the city, supporters gathered to watch the visuals, share reactions, and follow the final stretch of the campaign after months of teasing.
Drake also hosted a private release party at Casa Loma, the historic Toronto venue known for its castle-like setting. Sexyy Red, who appears on multiple new songs, was among the guests seen at the event.
The city connection continued through a clip filmed inside Toronto City Hall, where Drake appeared at Mayor Olivia Chow’s desk wearing the ceremonial chain of office. The celebration ended with a 10-minute fireworks display along the waterfront.
